You open your email and – SURPRISE! There it is, another pesky notice from the Healthplanfinder site labeled: “Washington Apple Health Termination Notice.” What does this really mean? Your Apple health coverage is coming up for renewal! Please log in to your Washington Healthplanfinder account to renew your coverage.
You might be wondering, how many hours of your busy day will this take? How many hoops will you jump through for this? The truth is, the process takes five short and simple steps!
Follow these easy instructions to renew your Apple coverage and get on with the rest of your day:
Step 1: Log into your Healthplanfinder account. If you have forgotten your username or password, instructions for retrieving those can be found here.
Step 2: In the Quicklinks section on the right side of the screen, select “Update my Application and Renew Coverage.”
Step 3: Go through the application, making any updates necessary. **This is a good time to make sure your address, phone number, and any other pieces of contact information listed are correct!**
Step 4: Submit the application and your eligibility for Apple coverage will be determined. Kids under 19 and most adults will renew for a full year unless changes are reported later.
Step 5: Check your Action Center tab for any required documentation that may need to be uploaded within 15 days. Unless your action center says otherwise, you’re ready to go!
That’s all there is to it! You may then sign out of your account and move on with your day. If you find yourself stuck anywhere in this process, the Washington Healthcare Authority customer representatives are available to help. They can be reached at (360) 725-1844.
